Hey friends! Are you feeling those Wobbly Worries? That’s when your brain feels busy and your heart feels fluttery because of a big test, a mean word, or just feeling like you’re not the smartest kid in the room.
Grown-ups call it “stress,” but we know it means you need some stronger roots! You can have the unshakable peace that only Jesus gives.
Here are 3 superpowers you can use to stop the wobbles and grow into a strong Oak Tree:
🦸 Superpower 1: Fix Your Eyes on the Leader!
The Wobbly Worry: “I don’t know what to do next!” or “I’m not as good as they are!”
The Bible says we find perfect peace when our mind is fixed on the Lord.
- Don’t look at the problem. When something feels impossible, don’t stare at the giant problem! Look at the One who makes it possible: The Provider.
- Your mind is a camera. You get to point your mind toward Jesus, who loves you exactly as you are. That focuses your heart and stops the wobbles!
🦸♀️ Superpower 2: Give Thanks and Guard Your Heart!
The Wobbly Worry: “I feel worried and scared!”
When a hero protects something important, we say they guard it. God gives you a superpower to guard your heart using a special kind of prayer!
- The Thankful Trick: When you start to feel worried, turn your worry into a thank you to God. You talk to God about what you need, but you do it with thanksgiving.
- The Result: When you pray with thanks, God’s peace acts like a shield that guards your heart and mind. It makes the loud worries quiet!
🦸♂️ Superpower 3: Be a Peace-Planter!
The Wobbly Worry: “I keep fighting with my friends!” or “I’m really mad at myself!”
If you want peace, you have to be a peacemaker. You can’t have a peaceful heart if you are always fighting!
- Plant Peace with Friends: Stop trying to be better than everyone else (that’s the comparison trap!). Be humble and choose kindness instead of rivalry.
- Plant Peace in Your Heart: Don’t be mean to yourself! If you made a mistake, tell Jesus you are sorry and accept His forgiveness. That is how you “seek peace and pursue it” in your own heart.
When you use these three superpowers, you are like that strong, steady Oak Tree. The wind can blow, but your roots won’t break!
Your Next Step: Read the Bible verse Psalm 119:165. Great peace comes to those who love God’s Word!

Dear Jesus,
Thank you for being my strong root.
My heart feels a little wobbly today.
Help me to keep my mind fixed on You.
